Truth be told.. it is a bit difficult to be truthful. I think that the more awareness you bring to the level of truth in your life, the more you realize how "not" true you are actually being.
I was moved by your responses and encourage you to continuue to explore the concept of Satya in your everyday lives and to observe it in others. You may be startled by what you find.
As for me... well, my personal mantra guides me to "stand in my integrity." I did once attach myself to several habits in which "being untruthful" was central to many issues and problems I had. I was ashamed, which led me to stray from truth even more... and like the quote in your handout, "You cannot move toward wholeness while caught up in a web of lies", finally took it's toll and I had to face myself. The work to get back on my path has been supported by my yoga practice and while at times living my truth is challenged, I know that in the end, being truthful means moving forward.

We also have our senior exhibitions to do and i have that heavy weight on my shoulders and coming there to relax and let go i feel as if i can take a lot of angry out of me and lay it somewhere where i let it stay there. Our journal that we wrote today about are we true to ourselves i feel as if at some point i am and some point im not and the majority of the time im not and i know that being in this class i would be able to find myself...Thank you so much for coming, your making a big difference in my life...Thank you jessica
